The Klinik Schönsicht has introduced a quality management system based on the EFQM model. The quality management of the Klinik Schönsicht aims, above all, at maintaining the quality of health care at an appropriate and high level, and at further developing it. In the framework of the EFQM model, customer orientation takes the highest place among the targets to which quality management aspires. It was for this reason that we decided to adopt this quality model and no other. We want to be sure that we can fulfill the expectations of our customers, i.e. the patients and their relatives, and also the funding agencies.

On the upper level, the model differentiates between the so-called “enablers”, i.e. criteria which make quality (in the widest sense of the word) possible, and the “results”, which are obtained in the long run. Together with the lower level, “innovation and learning”, the EFQM model acts as a closed loop system for the purpose of continuous quality improvement
